Morten Storm first met Ikirma in 2008.
The CIA got Morten Storm to give money and equipment to al-Shabaab.

While working for the CIA, Storm met Ikrema at a restaurant in Nairobi in Kenya, in order to arrange the transfer of equipment to al Shabaab.
In 2012, Storm 'left the CIA due to a disagreement over a mission'.
Storm is now acting as 'a whistleblower'.
He believes that he could have helped capture or kill Ikirma.
Ikirma was only a lowly messenger when when Storm first met him.
Storm says Ikrima became the top handler of foreign fighters operating in Somalia, Kenya, Yemen, and the West.
One of Ikrima's former associates told CNN that Ikrima was the 'main link' between Somalia and the Kenyan-based militant group Al Hijra.
Last week, Ikrima mysteriously escaped during the U.S.Navy SEAL operation in Somalia.
