CAMERON HAS NO EVIDENCE!

On 29 August 2013, the UK Prime Minister David Cameron revealed that he has no evidence that Assad carried out the gas attack in Damascus.

Cameron's case is as follows:

The rebels do not have chemical weapons and so they cannot have carried out the attack.

Of course, there is plenty of evidence that the rebels do have chemical weapons and have used them.

A Wall Street Journal article, "U.S., Allies Prepare to Act as Syria Intelligence Mounts," states:

"One crucial piece of the emerging case came from Israeli spy services, which provided the Central Intelligence Agency with intelligence from inside an elite special Syrian unit that oversees Mr. Assad's chemical weapons, Arab diplomats said.

"The intelligence, which the CIA was able to verify, showed that certain types of chemical weapons were moved in advance to the same Damascus suburbs where the attack allegedly took place a week ago, Arab diplomats said."

"That both Israel and the United States, as far back as 2007 have openly conspired together to overthrow the government of Syria through a carefully engineered sectarian bloodbath, discredits entirely their respective intelligence agencies."
