On 5 October 2013, in Libya, American special forces reportedly capture al Qaeda's Anas al-Libi.

Anas al-Libi, also known as al-Ruqai'i, has reportedly worked for MI6.

Anas Al-Libi was a top Al-Qaeda commander who lived in Manchester in the UK from 1995-2000.

Manchester has reportedly been a centre of the Al-Qaeda affiliated LIFG ( Libyan Islamic Fighting Group).
